Carrington Street

A charming yet neglected road in the heart of the greater Church Hill neighborhood.

Since 1994, the neighborhood has lobbied Richmond City Council to maintain Carrington Street at suitable standards. Due to the sharp rise in development along the street, the corridor now faces safety issues without the proper infrastructure.

The road’s location and characteristics provide an opportunity to form a vibrant, walkable, inclusive activity center following the Richmond 300 Guide for Growth.
