What happened next
City Council adopted the special-use permit for the building on November 8, 2021 (Ordinance 2021-295), building permits were issued in June 2023, and the three-story mixed-use building now stands at the corner of Carrington and North 22nd Street. In 2025 its ground-floor commercial space was leased to The Second Arrow, a physical therapy clinic and yoga studio with a coffee bar (Richmond BizSense, May 2022; Richmond BizSense, June 2025).
